Scampston Hall, Malton – Bank Holiday Monday 25th May 2026
We’re thrilled to announce a spectacular new chapter for the Yorkshire Classic & Performance Motor Show as it finds a grand new home for 2026 at the magnificent Scampston Hall, near Malton. This marks the 42nd running of one of Yorkshire’s most popular classic motoring events – now set within one of the county’s most beautiful and historic estates.
A New Home of Heritage and Style

Steeped in history, Scampston Hall is a jewel of North Yorkshire. Built in the late 17th century and transformed during the Regency period by architect Thomas Leverton, the Hall is surrounded by sweeping parkland designed by the legendary Capability Brown. Its serene lakes, tree-lined avenues, and the award-winning Walled Garden by world-famous Dutch designer Piet Oudolf make this one of Britain’s most picturesque country estates.
On Bank Holiday Monday, 25th May 2026, this stunning location will transform into a vibrant celebration of motoring heritage and modern performance. The show fields stretch across the lawns overlooking the lake and Hall, creating a truly breathtaking setting to display your pride and joy. The Hall and Gardens will be open for visitors and tickets can be purchased on the day from the team.
Hundreds of Vehicles, One Incredible Day
Expect hundreds of classic cars, bikes, and performance icons spanning the decades – from pre-war elegance to modern masterpieces. From Jaguars to Jensens, Triumphs to TVRs, Lamborghinis to Land Rovers, and everything in between, there will be something for every enthusiast. Displays will include:
- Classics through the Ages: From pre-60s vintage beauties to modern classics
- Modified & Custom Builds: From creative street machines to concours-level show cars
- Supercars & Sports Cars: Featuring the world’s most desirable marques
- Motorcycles & Scooters: From café racers to superbikes
- 4×4, Trucks & Light Commercials: Showcasing British grit and engineering power
Owners and collectors are invited to book online for discounted exhibit entry and a place on the show field. Every exhibitor will receive a commemorative plaque and be eligible for category judging, with class awards for each era and type. Category winners will go through to the ‘Vehicle of the Show’ grand finale in the main arena – the highlight of the day.
For Enthusiasts, Clubs & Families
It’s not just about the cars – it’s about the community. The relaxed, friendly atmosphere makes it a perfect day for enthusiasts to chat, share stories, and connect with like-minded owners. Clubs are warmly invited to display together – the more flags, banners and members, the better the display!
Visitors can browse the variety of trade stands, discover hard-to-find parts, vintage signs, collectables, and motoring accessories, or simply relax by the lake with a coffee or an ice cream while enjoying the spectacular views. A range of food and refreshment stalls will serve up everything from barista coffee and artisan treats to burgers and fish & chips throughout the day.
