Set just east of Malton in North Yorkshire, Scampston Hall presents a stunning and historic backdrop for the 2026 Yorkshire Classic & Performance Motor Show, making its debut at this prestigious venue. The house itself dates from around 1700 and was substantially remodelled between 1795–1800 by architect Thomas Leverton, resulting in the elegant Regency interiors visible today.
Surrounded by parkland originally laid out by the illustrious landscape architect Lancelot “Capability” Brown in 1782, the estate features sweeping lakes, flowing vistas and one of Yorkshire’s finest country landscapes. Within the grounds, a striking contemporary walled garden designed by Dutch planting designer Piet Oudolf adds modern flair, with grasses, perennials and architectural planting bringing a fresh dimension to the historic setting.
As the new home for the Yorkshire show, Scampston Hall offers exhibitors, clubs, visitors and traders a truly special environment: historic architecture, landscaped parkland and garden vistas combined with easy access and excellent event infrastructure. We’re delighted to welcome this celebrated estate as the venue for one of the most anticipated dates of the season.
