A truly unforgettable celebration of motoring and heritage happened on 27-28 June 2026 asย Great British Motor Showsย andย Masters of Motoringย join forces withย Longleatย to present the spectacularย Longleat Motor Show Weekenderย โ a two-day festival of cars, bikes, motorsport and family adventure.
It took place onย Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th June 2026, and as a flagship event formed part ofย Longleat Safari Parkโs 60th anniversary celebrations, marking six decades since the famous Wiltshire estate introduced the first drive-through Safari outside of Africa.ย ย Set against the backdrop of Longleat Houseโs Elizabethan splendour, and surrounded by sweeping parkland and wildlife, this new partnership promised one of the most unique motoring weekends in Britain and it didn’t fail to deliver.
A Weekend of Motoring through the Ages
Over two days, we saw the Longleat estate host aย stunning showcase of motoring excellence, bringing together everything from early pre-war icons to the latest performance and supercars.
At the heart of the event is theย Masters of Motoring Concours, featuring exceptional vehicles such as theย 1922 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost,ย Jaguar XJ220, andย Ford GT40ย โ icons of design, engineering and style. Each exhibit is carefully curated to tell a story of motoring history, craftsmanship and innovation, from the golden age of touring to modern supercar brilliance.
Live Rally Demonstrations โ Lombard Rally Bath
Hundreds enjoyed the adrenaline rush as theย Lombard Rally Bathย team bought rallying history to life withย live demonstration stagesย throughout the weekend. Hearing the roar and see the spectacle as legendary Group B, classic and modern rally cars take to specially designed routes within the estate grounds.
A Full Family Experience at Longleat
Everyย visitor ticketย included access toย Longleatโs world-famous attractionsย during the weekend. Between viewing the motoring displays and live action, visitors enjoyed:
- The Safari Park drive-through โ see lions, tigers, giraffes and more
- The magnificent Longleat House, one of the finest examples of Elizabethan architecture in Britain
- The Longleat Hedge Maze โ Britainโs largest
- Jungle Cruise Boat Ride to feed the sea lions and spot the gorillas or hippos
- The Longleat Railway Train Ride
- Discover Southern Koalas, Meerkats, Red Pandas and more in Animal Adventure.
It was a weekend where automotive passion meets adventure, history and wildlife โ a truly unique motoring festival like no other.
2027 dates?
After such a successful weekend, we are hoping to be able to return to Longleat for 2027 and will be discussing ideas for this with the estates team.
