Ripon has a long-standing reputation as a destination for motoring enthusiasts, and Great British Motor Shows is delighted to return to this established North Yorkshire venue for another celebration of motoring through the decades.

The show is about much more than traditional classics. Displays are expected to include classic cars, modern classics, performance cars, supercars, modified vehicles, Land Rovers, motorcycles, vans, kit cars, commercial vehicles, trucks and ex-military vehicles, creating a varied event for enthusiasts, families and visitors of all ages.

Private vehicle owners are warmly invited to become part of the Ripon Classic & Performance Motor Show 2027. Bringing your own vehicle turns a visit into a full day of exhibiting alongside fellow enthusiasts and gives visitors the opportunity to discover cars and vehicles from across the motoring spectrum.

Eligible displays include traditional classic vehicles as well as modern classics, motorsport vehicles, modified cars, supercars and hypercars. Post-2010 vehicles can be entered into appropriate modern, performance and specialist categories.

Online exhibit bookings for the 2027 Ripon Motor Show will open soon. Advance exhibitor tickets will offer the best value, with early booking recommended as vehicle numbers and available display space may be limited.

Car Clubs & Club Stands at Ripon

Car clubs form an important part of the atmosphere at Ripon, with club displays bringing together everything from individual marques and models to regional, historic, performance and specialist motoring groups.

Clubs interested in attending the Ripon Classic & Performance Motor Show will be able to book dedicated club display space, giving members the chance to park together and create an impressive showcase for visitors.

A Full Day of Motoring Displays & Arena Action

Visitors can enjoy rows of vehicles throughout the showground together with a programme of arena parades, vehicle displays, interviews and expert commentary. Selected vehicles will be invited into the arena during the day, giving owners the opportunity to tell the stories behind their cars.

From beautifully preserved historic vehicles and much-loved everyday classics to modern performance machinery and unusual specialist exhibits, there is always something new to discover.

Motoring Traders, Specialists & Shopping

The show will also welcome a selection of motoring traders and specialist exhibitors, with stands offering automotive products, tools, parts, accessories, models, books, memorabilia, gifts and enthusiast merchandise.

A limited number of autojumble and specialist parts traders may also attend, providing another opportunity for enthusiasts searching for components and motoring-related items.

Getting to Ripon Racecourse

Ripon Racecourse is conveniently located on Boroughbridge Road, around five miles from the A1(M), making the show easily accessible from Harrogate, York, Leeds, Thirsk, Northallerton, Boroughbridge and across North Yorkshire.

Visitors travelling from the south should leave the A1(M) at Junction 48 for Ripon. From the north, leave at Junction 50 and follow the A61 towards Ripon. Follow local and event signage for the racecourse and use postcode HG4 1UG for navigation.
