Great British Motor Shows FAQs
Quick, practical answers about tickets, your online ticket wallet, arrival times, exhibiting, clubs, trading and our 2027 show venues.
GBMS Wallet App help
Your phone, your tickets and your day out.
The downloaded wallet is being introduced in stages. Use the options available in your account and follow the ticket instructions for your booking.
Will my tickets work without a mobile signal?
Eligible cards saved on your phone can be displayed without reception. Before travelling, sign in while connected and open every card you need. Installing the app alone does not confirm that your tickets are saved.
Where do I find my tickets?
Sign in to My Ticket Wallet with your booking email address. Follow the available save or download action and check the show and entry details. If a ticket is missing, contact GBMS with your booking reference; never send a password or QR code.
Can I transfer a ticket to someone else?
Where transfers are enabled for an eligible booking, invite the ticket to the recipient’s GBMS account. They accept while connected and save it on their phone. An accepted transfer moves the ticket; it does not create an extra admission. Public transfer availability is still being rolled out.
What else is in GBMS Wallet?
Available screens include your wallet, shows, My Garage, Messages, Member news and account help. Account changes and new information need a connection. Passkey sign-in and background reminders are planned improvements, not features to rely on yet.

Tickets and your online wallet
Find, download or resend your admission and exhibitor tickets.
I have lost or deleted my ticket email. How do I get my ticket?
Go to My Tickets and sign in with the same email address used for the booking. Your available PDF tickets are kept in your ticket wallet, where you can download them again or use the resend option. If you have never set a password, use the password-reset link on the sign-in screen.
Why is my new ticket not showing in My Tickets immediately?
Your Great British Motor Shows ticket is created and emailed as soon as payment completes, but the website then has to receive, archive and match that email to your customer account. This normally takes only a few minutes, but it is not always instant. Allow up to 15 minutes, refresh the page and make sure you signed in with the booking email address. Also check your spam or junk folder for the original ticket email.
If it is still missing after that, email steve@greatbritishmotorshows.com with your order reference and booking email address.
Do I need to create an account before buying?
No. Buy with your usual email address. If a matching website account does not already exist, the ticket-archive process can create one and email instructions for setting your password. Always use the same email address for future bookings so your tickets stay together.
Can I resend or download the ticket PDF?
Yes. Open My Tickets, choose the relevant order and use the download or resend action shown with the ticket. The resent message goes to the email address attached to the account.
Can you scan my ticket from my phone?
Yes—have the QR code open and ready with your screen brightness turned up. You may also bring a clear printed copy. Each ticket can be validated only in line with its ticket type, so do not share the QR code publicly.
I used a different email address. Can the booking be matched to my account?
Tickets are normally matched by the customer email address supplied with the order. Contact us with the order reference and both email addresses so we can check the booking. Please do not send card details or passwords.
Opening times and arrival
Use the time on your ticket and event page as the final instruction.
What time do shows open to visitors?
Most one-day 2027 shows are planned to open to visitors from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Longleat and any venue-specific programme may use different hours. Check your chosen event page and ticket before travelling because confirmed times can change.
What time should exhibitors and club vehicles arrive?
The usual exhibitor arrival window is around 7:30am to 10:00am, with some venues closing display access earlier. Chatsworth and Arley Hall currently show arrival by 9:30am. Your ticket and event-specific instructions take priority. Arrive with the ticket ready to scan and follow the exhibitor signs rather than the visitor parking route.
What time can traders set up?
Trader access is normally earlier—often from 7:00am until 9:00am or 9:30am. Exact gates, set-up windows and any previous-day access are supplied with the trader booking. Late vehicle movement may be restricted once the public is on site.
Can an exhibitor leave before the show closes?
For safety, movement of display vehicles is normally restricted while visitors are on the show field. If an early departure is essential, tell the team before the event and speak to a marshal on arrival; we may be able to position you in a suitable area, but this cannot be guaranteed at every venue.
Please check before setting off: dates, entrances and timings remain subject to final event arrangements. The individual event page and ticket are the authoritative sources for your booking.
Exhibiting and the show arena
Bring the vehicle you love and be part of the display.
Can I exhibit my car or motorcycle?
Yes. Choose your show on the events page and select its exhibitor option when registration is open. Traditional classic categories are generally for pre-2010 vehicles; modified, motorsport, supercar, hypercar and motorcycle categories may accept vehicles of any age. Eligibility and capacity vary, so read the product description before booking.

Can I enter the Masters of Motoring arena?
At shows running the drive-in Masters of Motoring arena, participation is normally included with an exhibitor or club entry and there is no separate arena fee. Arena places and running order are managed on the day; listen for announcements and follow the marshals. Lytham Hall uses static judging instead—the judges visit display vehicles, so owners who want to be considered should present the vehicle as instructed on that event page.
Does my vehicle need to be concours perfect?
No. The shows celebrate pride of ownership, character and the story behind the vehicle. Well-presented everyday classics, restorations, survivors, modified builds, bikes and performance vehicles are all part of the atmosphere, provided they fit the booked category and are safe to display.
Does a membership automatically reserve my display place?
No. Membership benefits and eligible shows depend on the chosen plan, but you must still follow the registration instructions for each event. Read the current membership terms and confirm 2027 coverage before purchasing.
Car clubs and traders
Plan a shared display or introduce your business to a motoring audience.
How do I register a car or motorcycle club?
Open the relevant event page and use the club booking link for the available events. Enter the club name consistently on each member booking so vehicles can be grouped. Club organisers should book early, estimate expected numbers accurately and watch for the event email containing arrival instructions.

How many vehicles do we need for a club stand?
Requirements vary by venue, but a group of around five or more vehicles is commonly treated as a club display. Space is allocated according to confirmed bookings, not social-media responses, so every attending vehicle must complete the correct registration.
Can I trade or bring an autojumble stand?
Yes, subject to suitability, space and the event terms. Visit Trader Bookings for general information, then use the trader booking option on your selected event page. Booking availability varies by event. Tell us what you sell, the pitch size, vehicle requirements and whether you need any special arrangements.
Can food traders apply?
Food and drink arrangements can be controlled by the venue or an appointed caterer. Contact us before making plans and include your menu, pitch size, power needs, licences and food-hygiene details. Acceptance at one show does not guarantee access to every venue.
Where are the 2027 shows?

Planning your visit
A little preparation makes for an easier day.
Are children welcome?
Yes. Child and family ticket options are shown with each event when sales open. Ages and inclusions can vary, so check the exact ticket description before purchase.
Can I bring a dog?
Dog rules vary by venue. Many outdoor shows welcome well-behaved dogs on leads, but some venues restrict access to gardens or attractions, and Longleat does not permit dogs because it is a safari park. Check the event page before travelling and never leave a dog in a vehicle.
What accessibility information is available?
Most shows are outdoor events on grass, parkland or mixed surfaces. Accessible parking, ground conditions and facilities differ by venue. Contact us before booking if you need specific arrangements, and check the event page again close to the date for final arrival guidance.
Is parking included?
Visitor parking is free at many shows, but arrangements and entrances are venue-specific. Follow the event signs rather than relying only on a postcode, especially where visitors, exhibitors and traders use separate gates.
What happens if event details change?
We update the event page and contact affected ticket holders using the booking email address where appropriate. Check the page and your inbox before travelling. Ticket conditions and any event-specific policy remain those shown at the time of booking.
Still need a hand?
Include your event name and order reference so the team can find the right information quickly. Never email passwords or full card details.
